The second class lever has the resistance or load in the middle. One example is a wheelbarrow.
Set up your second class lever as shown below.
As with the first class lever, the resistance arm is between the resistance and the fulcrum.
The effort arm is between the resistance and the effort.
Experiment with lengthening and shortening the resistance arm by moving the brick. Which set up requires more force? Which set up requires more distance (of lifting the brick)?
